Galleries : Creatures : Skimming the Surface

skimming the surface
dotting through time
skipping like pebbles
on lakes glass-ice rimed

dancing the ocean's
swelling and ebb
that ceaselessly churns
under sunlight's bright web

skimming in lockstep --
now lives intertwined:
my fate is your's
and your's linked with mine

the sea holds us near
in her depths glimmer ghosts
as we dance through her troughs
among watery hosts

skimming and dancing
the course does not veer
the world spins on past
year trailing year
