How long can it last? Joy defies apparent logic. Literally transcending the bounds and weight of everyday life, this Passion explodes with exuberant bliss. Perhaps this is our natural state – maybe weight and darkness are only what we choose to remain bound by. The stones below, however, suggest otherwise. It may be that Joy’s power comes from the way it breaks such holds in memorable, if temporary ways. The ground’s still there when Joy subsides… and if it ends suddenly, there may be a long way down to fall.
